The Alexander McQueen Store Operations Associate will work closely with the Corporate Operations Manager to ensure that the stores operate efficiently and effectively while adhering to company policies and guidelines. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying business needs and successfully implementing projects that support the retail function. The Store Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining store locations to the highest standards and ensuring that the brand image is consistently represented in the in-store environment. Additionally, this position involves the correct handling of goods in-store, care of the product, and compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), guidelines, and company procedures. In terms of retail operations, the Store Operations Associate will follow company policies and procedures, ensuring store compliance through regular in-store checks and audits. They will support the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they receive adequate information about store operations policies and guidelines. The Associate will liaise with external parties to ensure that all required permits and documentation are in order. They will also support the Operations Manager and/or Store Manager in implementing Fire Safety and Health & Safety procedures, as well as assist in the setup of in-store events to ensure successful execution. The role includes overseeing the day-to-day management of goods receipt, ensuring that storage aligns with company procedures, and preparing products for the sales floor to maximize efficiency. The Store Operations Associate will also play a key role in store maintenance, acting as the point of contact for cleaning companies and contractors, and responding to store emergencies to ensure timely repairs and services. They will be responsible for supporting the after-sales process, ensuring that both the store team and clients are kept informed. Additionally, the Associate will manage the ordering and distribution of staff uniforms and maintain back-of-house standards to enhance the client experience. Regular training of Client Advisors on back-of-house organization and stock care will also be part of their responsibilities. In terms of stock and inventory management, the Associate will prepare for and plan inventory checks across all stores, support stores with inventory reconciliations, and manage in-store damaged stock. They will monitor negative-on-hand and outstanding consignments, coordinate cycle counts, and provide training to minimize stock loss and damages. The role also involves managing the flow of OMNI orders and ensuring compliance with company guidelines in the event of theft. The Store Operations Associate will be expected to manage logistics and supplies, organizing packaging and stationary both physically and in the IT system, while evaluating shipping suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective services. Team collaboration is essential, as the Associate will consistently provide a high level of professionalism in communication and teamwork, supporting colleagues and providing relevant feedback to managers. They will work with all internal and external stakeholders in a service-oriented and collaborative manner.
