About The Position

To aid and support the ALC Classroom Facilitator in the effective implementation of ALE programming.

Requirements

• High School Graduate and one of the following:
• Completed 60 credit hours at an institution of higher education
• Obtained an Associate’s degree or higher
• Passed a paraprofessional academic assessment test

Responsibilities

• Reinforce instructional activities with students as prescribed by the ALE Classroom Facilitator.
• Assist in the preparation and effective implementation of all teaching and learning activities in ALCs or other ALE programming tiers.
• Provide effective student supervision at all times and assist in the coordination and effective implementation of all activities under the direction of the classroom facilitator.
• Inform site facilitator when supplies are low.
• Assist in the preparation instructional lessons as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator.
• Participate in in-service, professional, and/or faculty meetings as directed by the ALE classroom facilitator or building principal.
• Reports to and is responsible to the site facilitator.
• Other duties as assigned.
