About The Position
Alcohol Law Enforcement is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Special Agent in Charge (District IV - Garner). This is an INTERNAL POSTING open ONLY for current employees of the NC Department of Public Safety's current employees and eligible RIF candidates. Selected applicant must be willing to move to (if not currently residing) and live within the boundaries of District IV - Garner; OR at a location that will allow you to respond to ALE District IV Headquarters Office, located at 505 N. Greenfield Parkway, Suite 130, Garner, NC 27529 within one hour and 15 minutes. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. This position will require shift work, travel and possible overtime. The primary purpose of this position is to manage the activities of NC Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) Division personnel assigned to a field district. This position plans, coordinates, directs, and manages the activities of subordinates assigned to the district/section in the pursuit of the statutorily assigned or delegated missions and activities of the ALE Division.
