About The Position

ABUNDANT LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL ASSISTANT HS TRACK & FIELD COACH We are seeking an Assistant High School Track & Field Coach who is passionate about mentoring student-athletes both competitively and spiritually. The ideal candidate will support the Head Coach in developing athletes, with jumping experience preferred but not required, while modeling Christ-centered leadership and character.

Requirements

Previous coaching or competitive experience in track & field
Knowledge of high school track & field rules and safety practices
Ability to positively connect with and motivate high school students
Strong organizational and communication skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

Experience coaching or competing in jumping events (long jump, triple jump, high jump, or pole vault)
Prior high school or club coaching experience

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and conducting daily practices, with emphasis on technique, conditioning, and athlete development
Provide coaching support for track and/or field events (jumping events a plus)
Help supervise athletes at practices and meets
Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth
Support meet-day logistics and event management
Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and school administration
Uphold and promote the mission, values, and faith statement of the school
