About The Position

The Alcohol Compliance Supervisor at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is responsible for monitoring assigned areas to ensure all TABC laws and venue alcohol policies are being followed. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. Requirements

  • Complete a written end-of-night report summarizing any issues, interventions, or notable activity
  • Address situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a safe and compliant environment
  • Confiscate alcoholic beverages when required in accordance with TABC guidelines
  • Work closely with management and security teams to address any alcohol-related concerns
  • This position requires the ability to gather and interpret information and to accurately complete required reporting procedures
  • Work independently and under indirect supervision
  • Required to maintain daily contact with a wide range of people including guests, officials, and employees
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all investigations, incidents, etc.
  • Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lb
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
  • Must be able to work - days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays as required by location

Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned areas to ensure all TABC laws and venue alcohol policies are being followed
  • Walk the venue throughout the event to observe guest and employee alcohol service and consumption
  • Work closely with management and security teams to address any alcohol-related concerns
  • Verify valid identification when needed to ensure legal alcohol consumption
  • Confiscate alcoholic beverages when required in accordance with TABC guidelines
  • Address situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a safe and compliant environment
  • Complete a written end-of-night report summarizing any issues, interventions, or notable activity
  • Conducts ongoing inspections for violations and hazards
  • Prepares reports and work orders where appropriate
  • Responds to various emergency situations
  • Takes possession of found property
  • Conducts investigations and inspections
  • Prepares accurate and complete written reports
  • Demonstrates professional behavior
  • Ensures security of company assets
