About The Position

The position involves following established safety procedures, inspiring open communication, and fostering team commitment. Responsibilities include planning ahead to meet commitments, suggesting improvements for cost reduction and efficiency, and raising concerns to management. The role supports a positive work environment and requires a thorough understanding of duties and responsibilities. The employee will measure and record technical data, schedule and organize work tasks for subordinates, and assist in the assembly process using drawings and schematics. Additional tasks include part fitting, bolting, connecting, threading, aligning, calibrating, grinding, crimping, and inspecting. The position also requires an understanding of electrical components and basic circuit elements.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience with equipment similar to that used on the rig
  • Minimum of 12 months experience with drive systems if applicable
  • Experience with USCG regulations on electrical systems and wiring requirements for MODU classed units
  • Ability to wear respiratory protective devices
  • STOP for Supervisor Program certification

  • Understands BOM's (Folder/Process)
