About The Position

This position involves performing service, installation, and/or inspection of systems, working independently and with team members · The technician will seek and accept guidance from senior personnel while also providing guidance and support to those less senior · The role includes assisting the Technician Manager (TM) as necessary · Perform installation and service of low voltage systems in accordance with Federal Alarm minimum installation standards, the National Electric Code, manufacturer's instructions, and Federal Alarm Safety Policy · Facilitate the service of common systems in your area through effective communication, leadership, and organization · Service and repair common systems in your area · Assist more senior personnel in the service of complex systems · Provide training and support to less senior technicians · Responsible for customer on-boarding · Operate job-related mechanical equipment (bucket truck, scissor lift, trencher, etc.) · Communicate work in progress according to currently accepted procedure · Understand and complete all UL, FM, and other required paperwork, as require We proudly support Military, Law Enforcement, and Corrections veterans. https://clarionsecurity.com/apply-now/ EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Clarion Security LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.

Requirements

  • A willingness to learn in an ever-changing industry
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage electronic systems
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines consistently
  • Knowledge of Access, Fire, Intrusion, and CCTV
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT and networking infrastructure
  • Experience with hand tools and various power tools
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • An understanding of drawings, blueprints, plans, and job specifications
  • Able to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as customers
  • Able to work independently, with little or no supervision while still providing a team-oriented attitude
  • Maintain proper dress code and appearance
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Willing to travel
  • Be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening process
  • Able to obtain NICET I Certification
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed
