About The Position

The Alarm Service Technician position at Redwire LLC involves servicing, repairing, and installing various security and fire alarm systems for municipal, residential, and commercial customers. The role requires technical expertise and strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and system functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Technical school training and/or certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technician experience within the alarm and fire industry.
• Minimum 1 year of field service experience.
• IT and networking experience is preferred.
• Must have flexibility to travel, work overtime, and On-Call shifts as needed.
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Suite (intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and install all systems based on customers' orders.
• Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
• Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Complete and submit all service call related documents.
• Keep an orderly vehicle and accurate inventory stock levels.
• Various projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
