Job Summary: The Alarm and Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems for residential and commercial customers. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certifications a plus.
- Prior experience in alarm installation, security systems, or electronics preferred.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service calls.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and test alarm systems, cameras, and related security equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Communicate with clients professionally and explain system functions and updates.
- Document work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with the service team and follow safety procedures.
