Amentum is seeking an Alarm Monitor to join our team in Hawthorne, NV to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Alarm Monitor is required to receive and respond to all personnel, radio calls, medical emergencies and serious incidents via telecommunication devices, radios, and monitors Closed-Circuit Television (CCTVs). The Alarm Monitor will analyze and prioritize 911 calls as well as non-emergency phone calls and activate security or emergency services in response. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Duties and Responsibilities: Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel, radio calls, medical emergencies, and serious incidents. Remains alert at all times to be able to provide appropriate security monitoring of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTVs), Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS) and Vision 21 Alarms. Able to complete the associated training requirements for computer-based programs. Wear appropriate work attire which may include a company provided dress uniform. Receiving, analyzing & prioritizing 911 calls as well as non-emergency phone calls for DACP Police, Fire, and EMS service. Performing Emergency Medical Dispatch when appropriate and giving lifesaving instructions over the phone to callers. Effectively utilizing a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system to prioritize calls, record incident details & identify the status and location of responders in the field. Distributing calls for Security, DACP Police, Fire & EMS according to guidelines. Monitoring radio traffic for Security, Range Control, DACP Police, Fire & EMS. Mass Notification System is to be used for all situations requiring mass notification on Depot. Send emergency alerts to the public. Maintain radio logs, Dispatcher’s logbook, police blotters, writing Reports and TIL inventory lists documenting area checks and Category Material in lot. Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations. May be required to work overtime or varying hours to include shift work. Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record. Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents. Monitor and enforce access rosters for restricted areas and key control. Monitor vehicle status and trip tickets. Complete tasks as assigned from Lead Dispatcher, Shift Supervisor or Management. Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
