About The Position

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Alarm Center Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid ASRB License as required by the state licensing authority.
Must be at least 21 years old.
1+ Years of verifiable Alarm Monitoring experience.
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Weekend availability
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
High School Diploma or equivalent
No prior experience required
Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping

Nice To Haves

1+ Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance
Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Incident Response & Reporting
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
