About The Position

Established in 1714, the William Penn Inn is one of Pennsylvania’s most historic and distinguished dining establishments. With over three centuries of tradition, we are known for our exceptional service, innovative cuisine, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking experienced Fine Dining Servers who are passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver unforgettable guest experiences. We are currently seeking passionate and dependable Dining Room Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food and beverage, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate is required to have availability on Tuesdays and Sundays at minimum.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must have availability on Tuesdays and Sundays at minimum
2–3 years of fine dining experience preferred
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, etiquette, and guest relations
High level of service orientation, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task
Must work well both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, professional, and punctual
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate an entire station and communicate effectively with front and back of house personnel
Take ownership of the guest experience from start to finish
Greet guests warmly and present menus
Inform guests of specials and menu changes; make recommendations and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and service
Take orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar
Serve courses efficiently and ensure accuracy of each order
Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to additional requests, and ensure the meal is complete
Present and settle checks using proper procedures
Perform assigned side work before and after shifts
