About The Position

The Assisted Living QMAP position at Harmony Home Yuma is a part-time role focused on providing direct care and services to residents. Requirements

  • High school graduation or G.E.D preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • QMAP medication certification preferred.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and resource management skills.
  • Ability to enter data accurately.
  • Critical thinking and detail-oriented.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and process information.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare background preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and services to residents.
  • Adhere to the MOSES program.
  • Order and document administration of medications and medical supplies.
  • Assist in implementing care plans, including bathing, laundry, housekeeping, meal service, grooming, reminders, and toileting assistance.
  • Maintain privacy while providing personal care.
  • Document neighbor’s information as required by regulations.
  • Coordinate medical and non-medical appointments and transportation.
  • Provide mental, emotional, and physical support to residents.
  • Treat residents with dignity and respect.
  • Respond to call bells in a timely manner.
  • Clean equipment and maintain a neat work area.
  • Communicate residents’ conditions and significant issues with relevant parties.
  • Perform basic assessments using medical equipment.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in residents’ conditions and report abnormalities.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
