About The Position

You will ensure the delivery of person-centered, individualized and clinically competent care in the Assisted Living facility. You will also coordinate and manage the overall care delivered to residents by directing and supervising care staff and ensuring that services are appropriate to meet residents’ needs in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Supervise employees, including scheduling, training, assigning work, providing guidance and performance management, amongst other responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional nursing experience in Assisted Living or a long term care setting.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licenses Practical Nurse (LPN) license from accredited program, college, or university if required by the state in which you work.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting including performance management, discipline, program development and management of staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgements concerning all aspects patient care.
• Excellent understanding, skills and ability to communicate patient care and sensitive issues.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and medical records and clinical software programs.
