About The Position
The ideal candidate should be… Teachable - You will be closely mentored by an AIT Network Engineer and other CI team members. Trustworthy - Access to critical infrastructure requires responsibility and integrity. Curious and eager to learn - You should be comfortable referencing technical documentation and asking good questions. Safety-conscious - Proper handling of equipment and ladders, and awareness of physical hazards in ceilings and telecom spaces. Professional in communication - You may interact with faculty, staff, and vendors. If you are hired and excel in these areas, you will gain valuable hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies - a strong foundation for a career in network engineering, infrastructure administration, or IT operations.
Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Wheaton.
- Must be able to work for at least two school years.
- Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week.
