The Aisles Online Shopper plays a crucial role in this mission by ensuring that our online shoppers receive the best products available. This position is responsible for accurately selecting groceries ordered online by our customers, ensuring that they receive high-quality items that meet their expectations. The Aisles Online Shopper will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, demonstrating care and concern in all interactions. This includes greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and assisting them in locating products. The role requires the ability to secure items that may be out of reach, load or unload heavy items, and take note of customer suggestions or requests to enhance their shopping experience. Additionally, the shopper will handle customer inquiries via telephone and email, ensuring that all communications are friendly and helpful. In terms of product selection, the Aisles Online Shopper will be responsible for selecting the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products. This includes scanning and bagging items from various temperature zones while adhering to company policies and store guidelines. The shopper must report to work on time and be prepared to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Secondary responsibilities include processing customer orders through the point of sale (POS) system, ensuring that products are stored at the proper temperature, and loading groceries into customer vehicles. The Aisles Online Shopper will continually monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt fulfillment and may be required to perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed.
