About The Position

The Aisles Online Service Manager at Hy-Vee is responsible for assisting in managing the overall daily center operations and directing labor. This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork, ensuring a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees. The manager will report to the District Store Director and oversee Aisles Online employees, maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school graduate or equivalent education preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of similar or related job experience preferred.
  • Ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve problems.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to company policies and store guidelines.
  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and creates an atmosphere of friendliness and fun.
  • Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
  • Assists in customer relations and handles customer complaints.
  • Supervises and directs the work of all employees.
  • Organizes and plans labor usage for efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintains in-house quality control including cleaning and handling of equipment and merchandise.
  • Communicates with supervisors regarding labor needs and delivery issues.
  • Attends and participates in meetings.
  • Maintains employee records and documents employee interactions.
  • Trains new employees.
  • Completes employee performance reviews.
