About The Position

The Aisles Online Manager oversees the planning, implementation, staffing, and tracking for the fulfillment and delivery of the store’s online shopping website. This role is crucial in maintaining the order fulfillment process and scheduling of personal shoppers and delivery drivers. The manager is expected to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions.
  • Ability to interact with basic computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet and email applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store.
  • Assists customers by escorting them to the products they are looking for, securing products that are out of reach, and loading or unloading heavy items.
  • Makes note of and passes along customer suggestions or requests.
  • Ensures smooth operation of order fulfillment process and continually monitors incoming online orders.
  • Responsible for training new employees and scheduling department employees.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and addresses any service issues.
  • Adheres to all food safety guidelines and ensures products are kept at proper temperature.
  • Provides education to existing employees regarding new policies and procedures.
  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
