The Aisles Online Shopper at Hy-Vee is responsible for selecting high-quality products for online grocery orders, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in order selection, and adherence to company policies while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions.
Greets customers in a friendly manner and makes an effort to learn their names.
Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and loading/unloading heavy items.
Answers telephone and emails promptly, providing friendly service to customers.
Accurately selects groceries ordered online by customers, ensuring the highest quality of produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones while adhering to company policies.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Tenders customer orders through POS and charges the customer's credit card.
Ensures products maintain proper temperature throughout the order process.
Monitors incoming online orders to ensure prompt fulfillment.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
Well organized, able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Physical ability to perform medium work, including lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.

Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
Familiarity with grocery products and selection processes.
