About The Position

State Street is an industry leader in providing administrative fund services to Private Equity managers within our Alternative Investment Solutions business unit. The PE Fund Operations group is the central hub for supporting the delivery of our administrative services. This senior managerial position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and accounting related functions for multiple client sponsored Private Equity Partnership investment funds, and will interact with all levels of professionals both locally and in globally diverse locations regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Services Industry
  • Highly effective communication and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and resource management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with alternative investment asset classes or Private Equity desired
  • Investran experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead communications at senior levels with client personnel and investment professionals.
  • Strive to provide best in class service to our clients while always seeking ways to improve and automate workflow and processes.
  • Oversee the supervision of officer and associate level staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate and lead projects across the department, in particular those which look to mitigate risk, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Make sure all client deliverables are being met and all procedures and quality controls are being adhered to.
  • Identify and participate in system development needs, testing, and procedural improvements.
  • Effectively delegate and reallocate resources when needed.
