We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell's Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. Bell is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Military Aircraft Avionics Airworthiness Engineer to join Bell's Advanced Vertical Lift Systems team and support the FLRAA Bell program. The Airworthiness Engineer is responsible for establishing and managing compliance with joint Bell-USG aircraft airworthiness requirements on military programs. This role requires excellent communication, and coordination skills to meet program objectives. Airworthiness engineers are responsible for organizing, planning, conducting and successfully completing military airworthiness certification/qualification objectives throughout the lifecycle of the product. This position will deal with challenging, cutting-edge aircraft avionics technology. Come work with some of the most innovative and talented teams to integrate complex vehicle management and mission systems. At Bell you will work with suppliers and customers, to meet mission requirements with the latest technology and modular architecture. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. This position will report onsite at our Headquarters.
