About The Position

Airtomic Ducting Solutions is a growing ducting aerospace solutions provider located in Franklin, Indiana. Our dynamic team works closely together to support our customers and ensure the success of our business. We focus on providing our employees with opportunities to learn and grow while delivering best-in-class service to our customers. This position supports the Purchasing/Inventory/Receiving Engineering team. Duties include picking up and delivering products with local suppliers, counting inventory, unpacking and receiving customer products for repair and overhaul, while ensuring paperwork and products are correct at all steps in the process. The role also includes assisting the Shipping Department as needed, packaging, and completing paperwork for shipments.

Requirements

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate basic computer functions in a Windows environment and basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Drive parts to/from customers and vendors.
  • Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences or similarities in product.
  • Skill in basic math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and fractions.
  • Accepting of criticism and ability to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations.
  • Skill in interpersonal and communication techniques, working in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).
  • Ability to take on responsibilities and challenges.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good attendance record.
  • US citizenship.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions/procedures in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with airlines, MRO and Repair Station operations.
  • Entry level understanding of aircraft components with technical knowledge of rigid tube components and their operating systems.
  • Formal experience on aircraft repair techniques.
  • Formal training on material moving equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver products with local suppliers.
  • Count inventory and unpack/receive customer products for repair and overhaul.
  • Ensure paperwork and products are correct at all steps in the process.
  • Assist the Shipping Department with packaging and completing shipment paperwork.
  • Sort parts and paperwork while maintaining traceability of part numbers and serial numbers.
  • Support monthly inventory cycle counts.
  • Pull stock to support all production areas.
  • Sort/straighten and standardize stock room as needed for product flow.
  • Maintain a clean/FOD free area.
  • Properly dispose of all containers as needed daily.
  • Provide clear and timely communications with all personnel.
  • Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues as needed.
  • Provide the Teams with Continuous Improvement ideas and support.
  • Assist Team Managers with collecting data for required Team Metrics.
