What you will do Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for an Airside HVAC Service Technician who have worked with, or is interested in, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets. Join our team and work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge air handling equipment! We will equip you with safety requirements, tools (required certifications) and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard. Under leadership direction, you will work on the truck-based team, providing routine, periodic service, and inspections on Mechanical HVAC equipment at customer sites, regardless of the size or location of the HVAC mechanical air handling equipment being worked on. This is a remote position for candidates based in the US. Candidates must be open to 80%-100% travel. How you will do it Install new Johnson Controls HVAC equipment (Air Handlers) Service existing HVAC equipment (Air handlers) Troubleshooting, diagnose problems and provide solutions in conjunction with JCI team / leadership Explain and educate customers on the appropriate use and operation of their HVAC equipment Documentation of work performed, generating work orders and job reports What we look for Required 1-2 years mechanical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED Mechanically inclined and self-motivated Ability to travel up to 100% of the work week Typical travel days are Monday and Friday, on-site Wednesday through Thursday Valid driver's license Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs Preferred Working knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning operating parameters with a strong foundation in electrical, controls, and refrigeration troubleshooting Associate degree or vocational certificate program HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $43,000 - $55,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
