About The Position

The Airside Experience Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional services for general aviation aircraft, crew, and guests at the private aviation terminal. This role involves operating ground service equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies, and delivering a high level of customer service. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and involves working in various weather conditions near aircraft.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
  • Excellent vision and coordination for inspecting aircraft fuel.
  • Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
  • Good judgment and ability to follow directions from management.
  • Preferred: 3-6 months experience in aviation or customer service.

  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct airside operations safely and efficiently according to established policies and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew to meet service needs.
  • Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft and perform open job tasks while addressing safety concerns.
  • Operate ground service equipment such as fuel trucks and de-icing trucks.
  • Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and other transportation modes.
  • Provide professional and friendly guest service at all times.
  • Transport guests, luggage, and cargo safely using shuttle vehicles.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
  • Handle fuel quality control and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Enforce operational, safety, and guest service requirements.
  • Report unsafe conditions or acts to management.
  • Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
  • Comply with security protocols as dictated by the company and airport.
  • Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
