About The Position

AirSeal Clinical Sales Director – Eastern Region The AirSeal Clincal Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving AirSeal growth and adoption within a specific area. This individual is a clinical expert in MIS procedures, AirSeal clinical & economic value proposition, market development events and KOL development/relationship management. The ACSD will help lead program execution on large opportunities and work in partnership with local Regional Sales Directors and Territory Managers to provide expert clinical support. This person will be responsible for a growth and quota target in the AirSeal product category associated with assigned Area. The ACSD will report to the Area Sales Director and work in collaboration with the Regional Sales Directors, Marketing and Clinical teams. Candidates must reside on the East Coast of the United States of America.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota achievement in robotic and/or laparoscopic operating room sales
  • 5+ years of KOL development experience
  • 5+ years of minimally invasive surgery exposure
  • Must be willing to travel up to 70%
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to meet with customers at hospitals and to be a member of a credential agency

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates must reside in eastern half of the US
  • Experience as a Field Sales Trainer, Executive Clinical Representative or Specialty Sales Manager
  • Clinical expertise in general, bariatric, foregut and thoracic surgery preferred

Responsibilities

  • Help generate and provide expert clinical support in AirSeal evaluations to maximize opportunities and build surgeon champions
  • Collaborate with TMs and RSDs to build low-pressure champions across the spectrum of patient care
  • Support customer education programs including, but not limited to: insufflation CEs, Anesthesia events, resident education, PA education, clinical in-services, KOL engagements and local industry trade show events
  • Work with Clinical team on KOL relationship management within Area
  • Bridge the gap between Clinical department and Sales
  • Coordinate with Marketing and R&D to provide strong VOC feedback loops
  • Assist Sales Enablement with training programs
  • Dotted line leadership in coordination with RSDs on clinical development and project management for TMs
