About The Position

The Airport Utility Person at Worcester Regional Airport is responsible for performing general maintenance, landscaping, and equipment operation to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational excellence. This role requires a dedicated individual who can respond to emergencies, maintain airport facilities, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for passengers and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to read and demonstrate basic oral, written, mathematical, manual, and machinery operation skills.
• Current and valid Commercial Driver's License / CDL B.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on airport facilities to ensure compliance with FAR Part 139 and ACM regulations.
• Manage landscaping tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and weed control, while maintaining cleanliness by removing trash and painting streets.
• Operate heavy equipment for snow removal and maintenance, performing preventative maintenance as needed.
• Respond swiftly to airport emergencies, following established procedures and contributing as a member of the first response team.
