The position is for an Airport Shuttle Driver at SP+, a Metropolis company. Requirements

Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required to have and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be a requirement.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.
Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
Maintaining a neat and clean appearance and being in complete uniform at all times.

Responsibilities

Performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
Being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
Courteously assisting Customers by answering any questions they may have.
Directing Customers to the Facility Manager for further assistance if necessary.
Reporting any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
Communicating debris, water, oil spills and other issues to the garage office.
Substituting for Cashiers or Valets, when necessary, if authorized.
Having a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable (e.g. operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
Assisting Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
