Job Description As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Lihue, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards to appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behaviors.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required by site protocols.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and observations in a timely manner.
