Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow by checking identification and/or credentials as required, directing individuals to appropriate areas, and helping to manage restricted-area entry in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and public agency personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned, and communicate clearly using radios and established notification procedures.
