Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic environment. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
