Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking lots, roadways, and perimeter locations, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
Control access to restricted areas by checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with queue management as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local authorities and airport operations when required.
Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarms as assigned, and communicate observations promptly to supervision and site contacts.
