Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and completing required notifications.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces for unusual conditions, report hazards or suspicious behavior, and document observations in written logs and incident reports.
Assist with crowd management and queue control during peak travel periods, support checkpoint and screening operations as directed, and provide clear directions and information to the public.
