Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government transportation facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, curbside zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
Monitor access points and restricted-area boundaries by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying credentials when directed, and reporting irregularities to on-site contacts and/or public agency partners.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and supporting evacuations when instructed.
Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to supervision and location management.
