About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client to support location-specific requirements.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
