As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns discovered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Work closely with location personnel and the public to provide information and assistance while upholding Allied Universal standards of professionalism.
