As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to help to deter and report any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
Assist with crowd control, visitor management, and/or special events as required by the location's operational needs.
