About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Requirements

  • 21+ years of age
  • Security Experience: 1+ years with CCTV/Dispatch Experience
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter prohibited activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Screen and/or monitor access points by checking identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and logging entries and exits in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and local public agencies as needed.
  • Prepare clear written reports, document observations, and communicate unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
