Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a government transportation location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry where required, and report suspicious activity, unattended items, or policy violations per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, wayfinding, and coordinating with local authorities when needed.
Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and client contacts using site-approved communication methods.
