About The Position

This is a non-exempt position requiring some experience in delivery operations or other related business operations experience. Performs tasks related to the delivery of newspaper bundles to airport gate areas. Will work directly with delivery driver.

Requirements

Must maintain proper credentials for Airport delivery
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to count and perform basic math
Ability to lift and carry freight weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and climb in and out of vehicle
Ability to follow instructions and complete the required training.
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Able to meet deadlines and attendance standards.
7-day availability
Requires high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Prepare bundles to be dropped at various airport locations
May assist in unloading newspapers from delivery trucks and verifying receipt of proper amounts of all newspapers.
Deliver bundles to correct gate areas as instructed by Airport driver
Assist in performing daily pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment.
Comply with airport regulations and procedures.
Follow dispatch instructions and communicate as required
Demonstrate internal and external customer service
Comply with all applicable laws, safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
Other delivery related tasks as assigned
Extensive knowledge of geography and demographics of assigned area.
