Lochner – learn more about us This position will learn basics around general aviation and non-hub commercial service airports projects. The intern will be working closely with both the planning and engineering staff, CAD technicians, and inspection field crews. The Intern will benefit from hands-on experience, technical training, mentoring from a professional staff, and working within a positive teamwork environment.

Requirements

  • Entry-level experience with sustainability or environmental studies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Background in Aviation or Aviation Management Degree major
  • Analytical skills and ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands
  • Ability to work in teams and receive mentorship to include constructive criticism
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment

Responsibilities

  • Learn the responsibilities of an airport planner
  • Fulfill administrative duties for the office
  • Assist planning staff
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
  • Assist with preparation of Airport Master Plan
