About The Position

The Airport Parking and Ground Transportation Rep II position is responsible for overseeing the management of parking and ground transportation operations at the airport. This role ensures the provision of safe, secure, and cost-effective transportation options for the traveling public, operating 24/7. The position requires building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external customers, and it is considered a professional level role that allows for limited guidance or review.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Good knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools within ground transportation.
• Skilled in operating a basic computer/laptop and software.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational management oversight of all parking and ground transportation facilities & auxiliary locations.
• Oversees and supports airport parking and ground transportation operation activities including emergency preparedness planning.
• Manages and supports all equipment related to ground transportation operations to ensure continuous access.
• Coordinates and assists in the ground transportation decaling process.
• Oversees all related construction projects impacting parking and ground transportation operations.
• Performs contract management to ensure service providers comply with the scope of services.
• Monitors and inspects all ground transportation facilities for cleanliness and operability.
• Responds to, investigates, and documents all related parking and ground transportation incidents.
• Prepares and submits recommendations for the annual budget for operational expenditures.
• Monitors and evaluates the quality of work performed by contractors and permit holders.
