About The Position

As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Law Enforcement Officer License.
• 22+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, adapting to changing environments and conditions.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements specific to armed posts and government locations.
