About The Position

As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Security in Honolulu, HI, you’ll serve on the front line of aviation security—ensuring public safety, safeguarding airport facilities, and upholding the spirit of aloha through professional service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • 22+ years of age.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures while performing assigned duties.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as required by the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
