About The Position

As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Law Enforcement Officer License.
• 22+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Interact with the public and/or employees in a courteous manner, providing assistance or information as requested.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms, following established procedures for armed personnel at government locations.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties at the location.
