The Inspector Cleaner is responsible for performing general and detailed inspections to assigned areas of employees within a specific building. Requirements

  • Leadership skills- 2 year supervisory experience
  • 1 year commercial cleaning

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting cleaners work after completion of assigned area such as jet bridges, carpets, restrooms, etc.
  • Inspect all ashtrays, screen all sand urns supply and request replacement of sand as necessary.
  • Ensure employees vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
  • Ensure employees Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, files, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, and all other horizontal surfaces.
  • Ensure employees Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, to include doors, doorframes, around light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
  • Ensure employees Sweep, with broom, all private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted.
  • Police stairwells and ensure employees clean or damp mop spillage.
  • Relay messages to employees of spills and ensure they Damp mop or clean any spillage in office and public areas as required.
  • Report any broken fixtures, restroom utilities or hazardous conditions.
  • Submit a daily report for your designated area and project completion.
  • Submit 20 QMS inspection reports every month.
  • Hand out supplies to employees if they need any.
  • Inspect all vents and light fixtures in restrooms and jet bridges, ensure everything is up to par.
  • Ensure slop sink rooms in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
  • Inspect all metal hardware fixtures and other bright work.
  • Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
  • Attendance is mandatory for snow events and overtime may be required, depending on the severity of the event.
  • Ensure to follow up with all emails and assigned tasks.
  • Sign every restroom and jet bridge after each inspection.
  • Complete inspection worksheets daily
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
