As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most. NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
Security Experience: 1+ years
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to observe and report any unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behaviors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter prohibited items and/or activities, and assist with access control as directed by site policies.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors as needed, supporting a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required during emergency and/or incident response situations.
