About The Position

The Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service role at Envoy Air involves providing essential support for aircraft operations and customer service at the airport. This position is part-time and focuses on ensuring the safe and timely movement of aircraft, as well as delivering excellent service to passengers. Agents will engage in various tasks including baggage handling, operating ground equipment, and assisting passengers with their travel needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Possess a valid, unexpired state driver's license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with short notice
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outside in variable weather conditions
  • Enjoy working under deadlines and in a physical job outdoors
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and friendly
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft at the airport on the taxiway to ensure safe and timely gate operations.
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, with some items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Drive ground equipment such as tugs and belt loaders to assist with aircraft operations.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure safe and on-time departures.
  • Clean the interior of the aircraft and service aircraft lavatories as needed.
  • Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
  • Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
  • Communicate important information to passengers regarding their trips and belongings.
  • Resolve passenger issues in a timely and friendly manner, especially during flight interruptions.
  • Work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and handle passenger inquiries.
