About The Position

This position is located in the Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Office of Program Integration (OPI), Aviation Operations Division. The role involves serving as the Pilot in Command and/or Co-Pilot of a 737 aircraft, supporting the OST mission by transporting personnel and classified cargo both domestically and internationally.

Requirements

• Must possess FAA Airman Certificate (copy of front and back).
• Must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate for PIC, a Commercial Pilot Certificate for SIC, a 737-Type Rating, and an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with random drug testing requirements.
• Must comply with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) governing personal identity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a military transport pilot, which included flight planning, weight and balance calculation and self-dispatch.
• Experience as a commercial chief pilot.

Responsibilities

• Provide pilot services as a Pilot in Command or Co-Pilot of 737 aircraft transporting personnel and classified cargo.
• Participate in Emergency Response exercises and perform on-call pilot/duty officer duties for usually not less than 7 days per month.
• Plan aviation missions through a broad spectrum of contingency operations.
• Transport explosives, weapons, armed couriers, and large amounts of radiological materials.
