About The Position

The Airline Manager is responsible for overseeing both ground and flight operations, ensuring efficient passenger services, aircraft handling, and catering operations. This role involves managing ticket sales, baggage check-in, and preparing passengers and cargo for flights, while maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must obtain Airport security clearance.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• Relative airline or aviation experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate airline and/or airline station activities.
• Review reports on station activity to determine data needed for planning operations.
• Maintain communication with TSA and Airport Authority regarding flight schedules and loads.
• Arrange work schedules for optimal employee efficiency for flights.
• Coordinate passenger reservations, ticketing, and ramp activities to meet policies and regulations.
• Evaluate staff and conceptualize training to promote efficiency.
• Train employees on multiple aircraft types and ensure training compliance.
• Report operational information and issues.
• Oversee DOT program at the location, including training new hires and maintaining records.
• Ensure procedures are followed and maintain open communication with customers.
