This role is crucial in assisting the Dispatch Supervisor in running an efficient and safe operation within our Operations Control Center (OCC). The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for hosting daily operational meetings, completing audits, and managing daily staffing challenges. The successful candidate will hold an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and possess advanced skills in SABRE Flight Operations Software, along with at least two years of experience in an airline's operations center. In this position, you will play a key role in communicating operational issues to crews, American Airlines, and senior leadership. You will also be tasked with assigning flights to each dispatcher for the following day, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and adapt to frequent changes in daily operations. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Flight Operations, and your contributions will be vital to maintaining our standard of excellence in service delivery.
